I usually love to dress up a little bit on one day over the weekend. The rest of the time staying more casual and relaxed, of course. I even remember growing up in high school and that was typically the night we all went out, and then the day after was spent in the sun relaxing by a pool or boating on Lake Jackson. Many years later now with my own little family, it's been so nostalgic living close to where I grew up!

This little white dress from Anthropologie is the perfect summer date night option! I was able to throw on my favorite denim jacket when the sun set, and the cool air breezed in. If you're looking for something sweet, feminine, can be dressed up or down, and a fun design detail for summer.. then this little number is just the ticket.

Tie your striped sweater around your waist for a casual, save-it-for-later look, or wear it all alone to twirl in the summer sunshine. But seriously, this dress has a twirl girl! It's the fabric, the design, the drape.. just everything.

This is the cutest store I found on the square in Covington! If you saw my Instagram stories, I found SO many cute items that I purchased for our home. From block print porch pillows for the rocking chairs, bone inlay picture frames, delightfully scented candles, butterfly art prints, and a darling blue and white jar. I knew it would be a favorite shop of mine the moment I walked in and saw our master bedroom beaded chandelier hanging from the ceiling, right next to the other chandelier I was thinking about purchasing for our living room!

By the way, the prices are damn good. Highly recommend stopping in!

The back detail on this dress might just be my favorite part! It's a tie between that and the way it flows and twirls effortlessly as you move. Anyways, we had such a fun date night together and I'm so happy that I wore this outfit!
