Radiant Summer Makeup Routine Step by Step

Radiant Summer Makeup Routine Step by Step

Right now, my skin has some color to it from being in the sunshine, and I am wearing less makeup as summer creeps in. Most days, I skip makeup entirely, but there are some days that I like to wear something light and easy! Read on for my full step by step....

I start with my Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter in shade 2. Applying product across my cheekbones, and blending outwards all over the face. A little goes a long way, and you can always add more, so start with less! This gives such a beautiful glow and subtle coverage. If I need more coverage, or if we are shooting for the blog, I will add a touch of my Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation in shade 3. Blending both products with my favorite flat top buffing brush from It Cosmetics.

For concealer, I'm still loving my Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion. This is amazing coverage, without the heavy feeling. It not only lasts all day, but it doesn't crease either! I love that it blends out really quick too. I use shade 1N!

Next, I set with my Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette using my It Cosmetics powder brush. I like to very lightly dust this all over my face. The lightest shade under my eye area, forehead, and chin and the darker shades mixed together to blend on the outer points of my face. You don't need a lot of this product, and it's highlighting while setting so you can save a step and skip the highlighter if you want!

For bronzer and blush, I'm currently using Hourglass Ambient Lighting bronzer in shade "luminous bronze light". This creates the most beautiful sun-kissed glow that lasts. Then, I'll dust a bit of my favorite summer blush from Nars in the shade "orgasm". This blush is a favorite amongst so many due to the fact that it creates the most beautiful flush of color on a wide variety of skin tones! I love using my Sigma F10 Powder/Blush brush to apply.

If you're wondering if I loved my Tom Ford bronzer brush purchase from the Sephora sale, it was worth every penny and I'm so happy I decided to take the plunge! It evenly blends product onto the skin without patches, and makes everything look flawless!

Next, I'll add a bit of color and dimension to my eyes with my Laura Mercier Boheme Chic Eye Clay Palette. I like using the bottom two matte colors together! Starting with the matte brown all over my lid, adding the matte pink on top towards the inner half of my lid. You wouldn't expect such a beautiful color from blending these two together but it works effortlessly and creates the perfect natural look.

My two favorite shadow brushes are the Morphe Y17, and Laura Mercier Finishing Pony Tail brush.

I'm still obsessed with my Hourglass Arch brow gel, and use it daily! It creates added volume while filling in just enough for a natural look. Plus, it's crazy easy to use which is such a bonus when you want something easy and effortless. I use shade "soft brunette"!

Last but certainly not least, my tried and true, one and only mascara from It cosmetics. This has been a favorite for a long time, and I haven't found another mascara that compares.

I hope you enjoyed todays quick makeup routine! Let me know if you end up loving these as much and I do!
