The Perfect Pair For Winter

In a few short weeks, we will be all moved into our new home in Georgia. With that comes the colder weather I have been longing for since we moved to South Florida. Call me crazy, but my favorite weather is sweater weather! I LOVE cardigans, sweaters, denim, jackets, layers... you name it, I'm a fan. Although I haven't had much practice when it comes to putting together colder weather looks in the past 2 years, I'd like to think I'm still pretty darn good at it.

For example, I need a good base to start with. Give me a good quality denim, and I can easily build off of that. For Fall and Winter, I love having a nice pair of black denim, and these 7 For All Mankind coated ones are perfect. They hold their shape, super comfortable, and pair perfectly with everything.

I'm a huge advocate for a pair of pants that look great with ankle boots, and also tall boots. I don't like having to find a different pair for each style I want to wear that day. This particular pair works with everything. Remember this outfit with my lace up boots? So, we know ankle or even a bit taller works great, and now we see that they fit nicely without bunching into my over the knee boots!

You don't even know how excited I am while typing this. I'll be the weird girl standing outside in 40 degree weather, happy as a clam. LOL.

Thank you to 7 For All Mankind for sponsoring this post. All opinions are always my own. Thank you so much for supporting the sponsors that support Little Blonde Book!

Farmhouse Dining Room

You guys! I've been busy over here planning our new home. Incase you missed it, I announced on Thanksgiving (here on Instagram), that we are moving to Georgia!! EEK! I've wanted this for so long now, and we are all beyond excited. As most of you may know, I was born in Florida, but moved when I was 3 and raised in Georgia. My parents, brothers, and best friends live there. After living in Florida with and without kids, I know in my heart that I prefer the lifestyle back in Georgia for me and my family.

As neutral, light and bright as this may look, it's actually very durable when you have kids. I knew I most definitely wanted wood chairs, rather than upholstered. Our current dining chairs are now ruined from spills and the fabric has pilled. We use our dining table everyday, what was I thinking with light colored fabric?????

Moving on to the jute rug. We have one in the playroom that has lasted forever, and doesn't show any wear from the kids. From spills to crayons, it all blends in. I think that's perfect for potential spills at the table. We have this one from Rugs USA, and you really can't beat their prices for the quality.

The only two chairs that the kids won't be seated at? These stunning woven, wingback chairs that I have literally lusted over since I saw them while we lived in Myrtle Beach! That's a long time to want a chair. LOL. I think the style fits my home decor aesthetic perfectly, and they would make the perfect pair in the corner area until we need them when we have more guests over.

Now, onto the farm table! We will be living in a french country, modern/updated farmhouse. The kitchen cabinets are a light grey with gold hardware, white subway tile, light pine flooring, and TONS of natural light. Seriously guys, my dream. The dining room is the focal point when you walk through the front door, so I want a statement table. Obviously keeping with the farmhouse style, you bet your bottom I want an 8ft farm table! Still on the hunt for the perfect one, but I found so many beautiful options incase you are in the market. Don't worry, I'll update when I've made my decision for ours :)

This wood beaded chandelier fits my personal style perfectly, and isn't something you would typically see with farmhouse decor, but I think it works so well and taps into my bohemian tendencies. I love the whitewashed wood beads!

Serena and Lily has this gorgeous Handwoven Rattan Bar Cart, to set up between the kitchen and dining area. I love the added texture!

I wanted to share my inspiration with all of you, because you know I love and value your advice! Can't wait to share more very soon!!

My Favorite Black Friday Deals

Hey! What did you score so far from Black Friday sales? I got Kai a new car seat because I hate the one he is in now. Super excited for this Nuna Rava, I've heard so many great reviews. Holiday Gift Idea : Intimates

Every year, I talk about my favorite gifts to give for the holiday season. I am well aware of the fact that I sometimes sound like a broken record, but I can't stray away from my suggestions when time and time again I am proven that they are great! Not to toot my own horn or anything.... LOL.

There are a majority of women that are different in age, and interest, but will more than likely have something in common that they would all equally enjoy receiving as a gift. I'd say one of those gifts is definitely a nice pajama set. I live in pajamas, we know this, so it's safe to say I know my way around a good pair! The quality and comfort on these Eberjey sets are seriously 100!

I've raved about Eberjey time and time again, and now that I saw these adorable boxed gift sets, perfect for the holidays, I couldn't resist partnering with Bloomingdales to share! I personally own pink, black, red, and now this gorgeous color. Please note, that the quality will stay more in tact if you wash on gentle with a good detergent. I speak from experience with that :)

Without a doubt, grab this set and top it with a cute mug and/or a festive candle and whoever is recieing your gift, will be so happy. I saw this emoji mug and new I needed it in my collection. Don't worry, there are different emoji faces to choose from!

I think it's quite obvious that Bloomingdales has quickly become my go-to for everything. You can browse their selection of gift-worthy items here if you are looking for more ideas and options!

This was genuinely me, sitting in my PJ's, sipping my coffee and looking at this butternut squash soup recipe thinking "Hot, damn! I need this in my belly tonight" and Chris said "Shoot, this will work and threw me a cute blanket to "fluff" the area! HA HA.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

In partnership with Bloomingdales. Thank you for supporting the sponsors that support Little Blonde Book! Product was not gifted for this partnership. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I will make a small commission on your purchase.

My Vanity + My Current Makeup Routine

My makeup routine changes depending on my mood obviously, and if my skin is more dry than normal. Plus, with the different seasons I like to change things up! Today I want to share what I am currently using, and finally show you my vanity area!

My primer is 99% of the time my Sisley Double Tenseur, but I also like the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer. I always spritz my face with MAC Fix+ before my primer!

Right now, I am rotating my foundations. La Mer Soft Fluid (shade Natural 12), Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk (Shade 4.5), and Dior Diorskin Forever (shade 020). After my Armani Power Fabric fiasco, I've decided to wait two weeks until I give my honest review of the Luminous Silk. 3 days in, and so far so good. Not dry, great everyday coverage without being too full. My La Mer foundation has skincare benefits, so I reach for that more often than not. If I want more full coverage, I'll go for my Dior Forever.

Concealer is still the same right now, going strong with my Tarte Shape Tape in shade "light neutral".

Setting powder is still my Laura Mercier Translucent, but I've added Givenchy Prisme Libre in shade 7. I apply this mat-finish enhanced radiance loose powder after I am completely done with my makeup, just before setting spray. I love the light scent, and how it brings everything together so beautifully. Definitely adds a lot of radiance. I love it!

For bronzer I have been using my Tom Ford ultimate bronzer in the shade "Terra". This is seriously such a gorgeous shade and wears all day.

My blush I've been using a lot lately is Marc Jacobs in "Kinks and Kisses".

Highlighter is my absolute favorite from Becca Cosmetics in shade "Champagne Pop".

Let's talk eyeliner real quick! I used to hate myself with eyeliner. Like, LOATHE. I'm not kidding. Now, I can't go without it. Not sure if this is a phase or what, but I feel I look so much better with a cat eye. My lashes look thicker with the black background, and I feel it opens my eyes! Recently picked up Stila stay all day and love it.

Mascara is typically It Cosmetics Superhero, but I also really like L'oreal Lash Paradise, and Cover Girl Peacock Flare.

For brows, I always use my It Cosmetics Brow power in "Universal Taupe".

The YSL Liquid Matte Lip Stain I'm applying in these photos are my new favorite. Last so long, and as the stain comes off its even rather than patchy and gross. If that makes sense?! ha ha. Anyways, for a true red, I have #12 and a perfect everyday nude/pink I have #7.

Last but certainly not least, I love Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray with Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist.

Now, Let's talk about this stunning vanity desk. I am so grateful that the Frontage team sent this over. It holds all of my makeup, with room to spare, and adds a touch of elegant glam to our room. Due to the quality and style, I would highly recommend regardless of the fact that this was gifted to me. I am in no way shape or form required to speak highly of this piece unless I truly feel that way!

Cardigan in color "Silver" (SO soft and amazing!) \\ Good American denim (size down) \\ Double Scoop Tank top (I wear these so much I have 5 black and 5 white LOL) \\

Gift Guide for the Homebody

I think this gift guide is going to be the easiest one for me. Chris and I are both the biggest homebodies you will ever meet, and we love it. Neither of us have ever been much for going out, or partying. Staying cozy at home is my thing, and Netflix and chill is our weekend motto.

First things first, soft loungewear. In the winter, I LOVE cozy socks and slippers. A nice blanket, or even this sleeping bag looks like heaven. I would throw that on the couch, climb in, and never leave again. Seriously! ha ha! I just bought these adorable pajamas... I couldn't help myself.

These sets from Sugarfina are so perfect. Come on, don't play with me like you don't enjoy good candy. You can't fool me! Chances are who you are gifting will love some too! It's one of those things that you don't really think to buy yourself, but freaking love getting it as a gift. Sugarfina is my sweet spot that makes me weak in the knees. Ooooh, if you haven't tried something from Sugarfina, you are missing out. Definitely brownie points for the cozy homebody that wants something sweet late at night.... or anytime of the day if you're like me.

I recently discovered bluetooth speakers, like this one from Bose. It's perfect to bring in the kitchen when your cooking, or outside on the porch with the kids, and even just relaxing on the couch. Not everyone has a surround sound system in their house, so this is perfect. My brother even uses his in the bathroom while he showers.

Candles are not just great for the scent, but for ambiance. Nothing better than lighting candles, turning down the lights, and relaxing. This Holiday scent from Nest smells amazing!

If you're a true homebody, this backrest pillow will speak to you on a spiritual level. I think it's also one of those gifts you don't want to purchase for yourself, but would get so much use out of and really enjoy.

Good headphones might not be something you think of, but after watching Chris with his Bose headphones being able to listen to music, or watch videos and movies without disturbing the rest of the house has turned me into a fan. I even got myself a pair!

Last but certainly not least, butter socks + this Barefoot Dreams cardigan = LIFE. I'm so serious when I tell you that every woman you gift either of these to will LOVE you! Your mom, sister, best friend, sister in law, grandmother.. the list goes on. Once you feel this cardigan in person, you will know what I'm talking about. Currently sitting in mine as I type this.

These socks are the perfect stocking stuffer or gift topper, and you can get 3 for $19. So, one for you and two for your friends! Perfect in your winter boots, or instead of slippers at home. I just picked myself up a pair after my friend at Nordstrom told me about them, and I can't believe I lived life without these.

Sephora VIB Sale : What I Bought/ Would Buy

Giorgio Armani Power Fabric foundation is a new purchase, and so far I like it a lot. You all know that I love my La Mer foundation, and love it the best out of all three. Dior Forever is what I used in my recent Instagram makeup video - I also really like this foundation a lot. I think when deciding, there are different factors that you need to think about when deciding what is right for your skin type. If you have dry skin like me, La mer will be amazing for you! I love that each product has tons of information listed on Sephora! ***UPDATE*** The Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Foundation did not end up working for me. If you have oily skin, it might work for you. I looked like a hot ass mess with this, and it totally separated from my skin, and made me look super dry and crusty along with highlighting all of my imperfections!

Tom Ford Ultimate bronzer in "Terra" is such a stunning color. This is pricey, but splurge worthy for sure. Lasts all day, blends beautifully, and the compact is great to have a mirror with you when you need it. The other two colors are very warm toned, so be careful unless you have darker skin tone/tan! You don't want to look like a Cheeto puff LOL.

Fenty Beauty Gloss bomb- Go ahead and try this on to be amazed! I LOVE a good gloss, and this did not disappoint. Thick without being sticky, and lasts longer than my other glosses. Great neutral color that would work on every skin tone. I also really like the light scent and taste.

YSL Liquid Matte Lip Stain #7 and #12 - This is a true red, and beautiful neutral pink for everyday wear. Feels like nothing on your lips, and lasts so long! I was very impressed with this.

SKII Facial Treatment Essence - This is not a new buy for me, but something I highly recommend. Along with the sheet masks!

Slip silk pillowcase - I bought this last Christmas and it's one of those things that you don't realize you need until you have it. When we were recently staying in Georgia, I forgot this and noticed a HUGE difference not only in my skin, but my hair. My products didn't absorb into my skin as well, and my hair was greasy quicker than ever! Highly recommend and also makes for a great gift.

YSL Touche Eclat blur primer and Too Faced Hangover primer -  On Wednesday, I asked on Instagram Stories for you all to recommend your favorite primers. YSL blur won first place, and Too Faced Hangover won second... so I bought both to try! Although my first and one true love will always be my Sisley primer, it's not realistic to keep repurchasing for $200 each time. I'll be sure to keep y'all updated when I decide which primer I end up liking the best!

Marc Jacobs Air Blush in "Kinks and Kisses" - Love this color and how beautifully this blends out. Also gives a nice glow! Was feature in my recent Instagram video here.

Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist - OBSESSED. If you want hydration and to look super glowing and dewy, you'll love this.

Sunday Riley Good Genes - You can read why I like this in my skincare post here.

Brazilian Bum Bum Cream - I first saw this in the chekout line a Sephora and laughed at the name. Ended up buying it after seeing it on one of my favorite beauty Youtubers video. Love this and love that the scent matches perfectly with my Donna Karen Cashmere Mist deodorant, Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, and Ralph Lauren Woman perfume.

It Cosmetics Superhero mascara- This is my secret weapon. Two coats and my lashes are huge!

I honestly have so many great products to recommend! Everything else is linked in the widget below!

Cozy by the Fire

If you're new here, I'm a cozy girl for life. If you've been with me for a while, you feel me, right? I'm pretty sure we're on the same page. I think my favorite part of Christmas and the colder weather, is the fact that I can get even more cozy.

At home, I wear slippers everyday. Even if we didn't have tile throughout, I would still wear them daily! It's to the point now that I feel naked when I don't wear them. Typically, I'll purchase a cheaper pair a couple times throughout the year because I've worn them down, but I saw this adorable pair from UGG and saw the bottoms and immediately knew they would last me a long time. Not only are they super cute and cozy, they are durable. Yes, girl... YES!

I know it's a little early for some of you to start thinking about Christmas, but in my recent poll I was shocked that SO many of you are ready and don't mind Holiday content and ideas this early. See, I knew we could be best friends in real life.

Christmas to me is a huge deal. You all know that I typically start early with my tree, because I like to enjoy this season as long as I possibly can. For now, I'll start with gift ideas. What woman do you know that wouldn't be elated to get a pair of these under the tree? If you ask me, give me something cozy that I will actually wear and use!

Bloomingdales has the cutest selection of winter accessories, so you know I couldn't pass up ordering this pom knit beanie and scarf. I'm actually headed over to Bloomingdales today to spend my $50 BMoney. You guys, I am not paid to tell you how much I love shopping here. Yes, I am beyond grateful that I get to partner with such an amazing brand, but you know I'm always honest with you. I have never shopped anywhere that rewards customers like Bloomingdales does. That's just my 2 cents!

Anyways, I hope you all have had an amazing week so far! As always, thank you for reading! Love y'all!

Thank you to Bloomingdales for partnering on this post.
