I've been seriously slacking on my blog this past month. Slacking to the point where I am embarrassed of my lack of creativity, and laziness. For those of you that do not follow me on Instagram and don't get to watch my stories, or maybe you missed these parts, I've been pretty sick. You all know I have Crohn's, and recently it got really bad. All of my energy and drive was completely sucked out of me. I've felt so drained mentally and emotionally up until today. I am finally feeling a break in the fog.

Working from home while trying to take care of the house and kids, keep them occupied, teach them things, play with them, feed them, and then at the end of the day maybe I can take care of myself for a minute. What I'm trying to say is that I feel defeated right now.

Want to know the only thing that has sparked my creativity and has started to get me out of this rut? Decorating. Surprise, surprise. If you have followed me for a while, you know I am obsessed with home decor and I re arrange our house weekly. Randomly moving the couch, rugs, the whole thing. I've done this since I was a little girl and my parents would go to bed, wake up the next morning to my room completely rearranged. I would get on the floor and push all of my furniture with my feet.

Even if I'm not an award winning interior designer, I still love doing it. I'm not the best, and I'll be the first to tell you "What the hell was I thinking?"

Anyways, I started with these Anthropologie curtains. Totally unexpected, but turned out to be my favorite thing I've ever done. Typically, I choose white to play it safe, but when I took a poll and 90% of my readers chose these. I took a leap of faith, and y'all were right!!

This is our "before" of the dining area. We need a light fixture, rug, sideboard, art, and potentially a new table. If i'm lucky! We've had this old table forever now, and it's held up well. I just want a bigger table and something less rounded.

So.... since you all chose the curtains, and I LOVE all of the advice you amazing humans give me, help me decide on a few things here!

I'm thinking this buffet table from Frontgate with this Triptych art above it. Frontgate is a brand I just found out about and fell in love with. They have so many amazing pieces to choose from, and currently have a buy more, save more sale going on.

It's between this Dash & Albert rug, or this Ballard designs rug for under the table.

I'd love to have either this Pottery Barn wood beaded chandelier, or something different and unique like this one from Anthropologie. I also love everything from Ro Sham Beaux, although a bit pricey.
