Eden Roc, Miami Beach

Eden Roc, Miami Beach

Relax on the beach ....

Saturday morning, we woke up to room service breakfast. Definitely order the avocado toast! With just our suits, and a few necessities in my beach bag, we headed out to the beach. You won't need to bring much with you, because everything you wish for is taken care of once you arrive! We were greeted by the sweetest gentlemen working, and were set up with chairs and food in no time. The water was a bit chilly, so I had Chris take on the job of handling Madelyn's stern requests to swim :)

This was my favorite part of our trip. If I could lay on the beach all day, I would in a heartbeat. It doesn't hurt being in a relaxing environment. Anything you need is just one request away, so we never needed to run back to the room, and miss out on the beautiful weather.

Tip: Head out as early as possible to reserve a seat by the water, before the crowd shows up!

Stay .....

We were graciously hosted by the beautiful Eden Roc Resort, and seriously enjoyed every second of it. (No, I'm not paid to say that!) Home to the infamous Nobu Miami restaurant. Besides the amazing sushi for lunch or dinner, be sure to head over for breakfast, it's worth it! Or, if you'd rather dine in-room, order the chicken quesadillas for me. So good I had to order it both days we stayed!

The rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms, and stunning ocean views. If you love to work out on vacation, there is an awesome fitness center, and a beautiful spa to unwind at. Walking through the grounds, you'll see spots sprinkled throughout to relax, and hang out. Just the ambiance of the resort alone will make you fall in love.

Bonus - Everywhere we turned, it was the perfect photo op!

The most important thing I always look for in a hotel and resort, is friendliness. That might sound cheesy, but I can't enjoy my stay anywhere if I feel unwelcome. We were never not greeted with sincere kindness, and that also goes for the guests of the hotel.  Hands down, this was the most fun, and relaxing trip we've had to date!

Lincoln Rd is just down the street, where you can dine and shop till you drop. We always love heading here in the evening when it's not too hot. There's typically live music and a lot of fun things going on here at night. First we shop, and then we have dinner!

Wynwood and the Design District are also great places to explore. You can do some serious damage at all of the designer boutiques, enjoy walking in the fresh air, and stopping for photos along the way.

Eat ....

Have breakfast at Nobu, or head over to the Design District and order a delicious spread from OTL. Have lunch at the Butcher Shop in Wynwood for great craft beer and a burger. If you've got a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by The Salty Donut in Wynwood for out-of-this world sweet treats.

That's all I have for this trip, but expect more in the future, and please let me know if there is anything you'd like to see.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
