I've had so many questions about what I use to keep my hair from looking brassy, and my reply is always purple shampoo! This will neutralize yellow and brassy tones, keeping your hair fresh in-between salon appointments. Now that I've gone a bit darker with my hair, I use my dpHue purple shampoo + conditioner once a week compared to every other day when I was really blonde.
In my honest opinion, this did not leave my hair feeling soft. I followed up with my hydrating hair masque and my hair then transformed into soft and smooth locks. I think this shampoo and conditioner is formulated to do its job, and it does it very well. It's not meant for moisture. Just an FYI, because I always expect everything out of one product when in reality that is not possible! :)
This is a great duo for blondes or anyone with highlights or balayage that would like to keep brassiness out of their color.
Now, if you're coloring your hair, you must use products to protect and restore it from damage. I like using this ACV leave in hair therapy when I towel dry my hair. It detangles and doubles as a heat protectant. For extra love, I like using dpHue's hydrate hair masque therapy.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you all have a great start to your week!
