Turtleneck Dress

Turtleneck Dress

This dress from Windsor Store = heaven. I just picked up this black one, it's a staple. The perfect style to pair with practically everything you already have in your closet. Booties? Check. Flats or heels? Check. I went with my knee high boots, and a light vest - but I also love it with my duster cardigan or faux fur vest!

I'm thinking I will layer an oversized sweater on top, with one shoulder off - post baby! EEK! I am SO stoked for post-baby outfits. I CAN WEAR NORMAL JEANS AGAIN, YALL! (I loathe maternity everything

This past week has been quite the blur for me. First, all of the Holiday activities, and now preparing for baby. I'm hoping this will be the last post for me with this bump. Bittersweet, I must say :)

Form fitting dresses made out of great, stretch material has saved me this pregnancy. (I stick with a ribbed fabric. You won't see lines or bumps. hides everything!) It's funny, I feel when I was pregnant with Madelyn, I didn't "embrace" my bump enough, rather I would opt for loose fitting clothes. Now, I see it's not really about embracing your bump as much as it is being comfortable and still trying to feel like a put-together, functioning human.

Blessed to have our little boy arriving soon, but excited to end this chapter. I have never been the woman who loves pregnancy - my feelings actually being the complete and utter opposite. I've always looked at other pregnant women who rave and rave about how much they enjoy it, with a bit of jealousy. I've highly disliked every moment of both pregnancies. From being uncomfortable 99% of the time, to just not feeling like myself. I suppose having health issues comes into play there.

Ah, I am SO nervous and excited at the same time. I can't wait to see what he looks like! Is it terrible we still haven't decided on a name?

Anyways, I'm sure most of you are pretty excited for my non-maternity outfit posts to come (I'm with you, sister!) I can't wait to see where this new year and new chapter of our lives will take my blog, and I can't thank you all enough for your continued support. I've met so many great people through this, and I'm so grateful for that. Chris thinks it's hilarious how excited I get when my readers reach out to me - I love chatting with you all!

I think I'm going to re-pack and organize my hospital bag again. It's what I repeatedly do when I get nervous.. that, and curling my hair? What am I? ha ha!

Love you guys!
