While in Dallas for a conference, I wore this Milly Sleeveless Shirtdress, and I never wanted to take it off. Hands down the most flattering and comfortable dress I own.  Typically I don't splurge on garments, but I know, with the classic style of this dress, I'll be able to pull it out of my closet three years from now.

We made a family affair of the Conference.  Mom, Dad, Dallas (my younger brother), Maddy and I all flew into Dallas two days before the Conference.  My older brother, sister in law, and niece live there, so it was really nice being able to spend time with them . . . and have someone who knows all the great spots to show us all around!

One of my favorite places we went:  Bishop Arts District, which is where these photos were taken. Such a neat place with unique restaurants and shops. I highly recommend eating at Stock & Barrel.  I ordered the meat loaf, and we also had the glazed brussels sprouts -- perfection!

Currently I'm sick as a dog . . . up all night long coughing my ass off.  To top it all off, I broke out in hives last night from the antibiotics I am on.  So, yeah, that was lovely!  Praying that Maddy doesn't catch whatever I have; but I figure if she was going to get sick, she would have by now . . . at least I hope so!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for all of the sweet "get well" wishes on yesterday's Instagram post!
