Clean and Simple

Clean and Simple

What's funny is I think what I really needed to get myself out of the creative rut I was in was to write about it. I can't tell you all how much I appreciate the positive and encouraging response I received from my last post! Writing that is just what I needed

With that said, it's Monday, and Madelyn is watching Doc McStuffins (I can sing you the damn theme song in my sleep).  I have yet to brush my teeth, and I'm wearing my favorite cozy sweats.
If I'm at home, there's a 99% chance I'm in sweats. Glamorous, I know.

I don't have much time these days to put looks together like I used to, but I had a vision with this look, and I was so stoked with the outcome.  Of course, I am in no way saying my outfit is weather appropriate for all over the country right now. We got lucky and had a warm front for a few hours.

I wanted to clarify that when I shoot outfits, I'm styling a look that inspires me. Think of a magazine.  The photos you see in there are shot and styled by a stylist. That's what I love doing. Styling.  Also, I don't want any concerns about me being a mother wearing an all-white outfit. GASP!  The little shit was at home with nana :)  Regardless, Maddy has never stopped me from wearing an outfit before. Are babies really that messy?  The only time we have ever had an accident is when she shits herself in her walker... ha.

These wide leg pants are ridiculously comfortable. If you want to elongate your legs, these babies will do the trick. Definitely packing them for Florida. (We leave Friday!)

Anyways, I've got to clean this disaster of a mess I call home. I'm afraid something might jump out at me from the kitchen.  Freakin scary in there.  My grandmother is flying into town tonight!!! She has been my best friend all my life & I HAVE MISSED HER LIKE CRAZY!
