Happy Monday, everyone! Over the weekend we had a chance to finally spend a little quality time as a family. Chris has been crazy busy since we arrived back here in SC; and when I say busy, I mean like some days Chris is gone from morning till late night and doesn't even get to see Maddy before she goes down for bed. It's been a little crazy, to say the least; hence, no posts last week. Sorry, guys!
Anyway, we headed over to Market Common. This is one of my favorite places to spend a little time outdoors and maybe do a little shopping. We are obsessed with CO Sushi. If you're ever in the area, you must try it out . . . and be sure to get the spicy tuna crunch roll! I also found the CUTEST little cafe that sells macaroons (they are super hard to come by around here)! Be sure to stop by Le Cupcake Cafe. They also have wine! ;) OH, and the Roasted Bean for a delicious latte!
It was nice to be able to pull out the sheepskin fur lining for our stroller. It's no secret that I love my faux fur, and Maddy looked SO cozy that I wanted to crawl in there with her! She is growing so fast and developing new quirks everyday. Her personality is absolutely the greatest . . . she's always laughing and grinning with those big cheeks.
Now, let's get to the outfit. You might remember this JOA plaid vest from my collaboration with Piperlime. You can check that out here. Since that post, I've worn this vest so many times I can't even count them all. I loved how the neutral turtleneck sweater looked with my all-black garments; and, of course, my Eric Javits hat . . . I'm sorry I can't stop wearing it!
You could totally recreate this look with any black, neutral, and plaid garments you have in your closet.
I hope you all have a great start to your week!
